For the ultimate in temporary sleeping capacity why not try an inflatable sofa bed as when not needed they are very easily packed away and also offer a comfortable if not slightly wacky way of sleeping for guests.
There are a few different types of inflatable sofa bed with some being very small and designed for children. These usually fold out very easily into a bed and so are great for kids to play on or for friends to sleep on if they sleep over, they are very rudimentary and so offer nowhere near the comfort of a proper bed but are quite fun and most kids won't mind one night on them.
There are then the large inflatable sofa beds that inflate into a full sized sofa and also fold out into a double bed and these are also very wacky and fun and make an excellent talking point for guests. They are meant as an item of fun and not really for regular use although they will survive a good amount of use if used properly, unfortunately this is unlikely as most guests on an inflatable sofa will not be able to resist giving it some abuse!
